Curly hair looking for hair straightening shampoo?

Ok I am a guy, I am balding a bit so I will not flat iron or use perm on my caucassian curly hair.

I know flat iron blow drying is the only way to make curly hair straight, but I am not looking for this final solution I am only looking for a shampoo that would make my curly hair into wavy.

I mean I am not asking for straight, I only ask for wavy, it can't be that difficult.

I am thinking it must be a shampoo because I style my hair by washing it with shampoo and then just apply hair gel when its wet, without brushing it.

Shampoo alone will not make your hair straight. Usually shampoo for straight hair will have ingrediants which are activated when you apply heat products, like blow dryer or flat iron. You can try a really heavy, moisturizing shampoo, that would weigh down the curls but might also make your short hair look greasy. Sorry, but I don't think there's much more you can do.

stop the gel, or buy aquage straight or aquage wavy gel.

usually Redken has good straightening products, like shampoos, jells, etc. but try to as a beauty supply store, they will give your better ideas. Or maybe your hair dresser???

straightening shampoo doesnt work. the only way to really get it straight is to blow dry, use an iron, or chemically have it straightened. the straightening shampoos may help a little but it all depends on how curly your hair is.

Dont use gel. Gel will just basically make your hair curly; due to your hair being naturally curly. Most shampoos for that kind of hair are meant for women. But one good shampoo to try out is Loreal Vive Pro wavy hair shampoo. (Its in a pink bottle) When you go to the cash register just say its for your girlfriend. LOL. Just kidding. Hope it helps.
