From curly hair to straight hair!!!!!!!!!! NEED HELP?

ok well i have shoulder length curly hair ........ i have tried to straighten it with a hair straightner a have tried several products to get it straight enough ....but it turns out all poofy and with frizz.....what can i do or use do get it straight enough..

ok i have the same problem, i bought some de-frizz stuff for like $2 at wal-mart and it works great you just put it in your hair where it gets frizzy then try to straighten it and it should work if not next time you go to the salon to get your hair cut or whatever then you could ask them and they can give you some real help.

just use conditioner for about a week and you will have hair as streght as the streghtest line on the planet.

wash and condition your hair and try not to rinse out all of the conditioner, but dont leave too much in either. Then as soon as it is dry use a large barrel curling iron and run it down your hair in sections. Pull most of your hair up into a ponytail and leave one layer down, straighten that layer and then let your hair out of the ponytail and redo it leaving another layer of hair down. This takes a while but it always works.

I also have curly hair.

the shampoo and condition u use doesnt really matter.

what matters is the flat iron.

you need a ceramic iron to get it frizz free and flat without the damage.

hot tools ceramic flat iron is a good one. its about 40 bucks but i recently found one at ulta for 16!

make sure also to get skinny plates like a 1 inch flat iron instead of the 3 inch.

you can get closer to your roots and thus make your hair straighter.

good luck. it just takes time. i myself have gone through 6 flat irons

and now i use remington ($40) just for my roots

and hot tools for the ends, middle. because i bought the 3inch and cant reach my roots so i use remington for that.

thats why i strongly advise a 1inch hot tools ceramic straightener.

i have really naturally curly hair too..

straighten your hair in layers..

go to walmart and buy the suave sleek line.. there's shampoo, conditioner, frizz control cream, and a spray that protects your hair from heat damage cause by blow dryers and straighteners.. it's also really cheap.. probably ten dollars for the whole line.. it's all in orange bottles..

it's a knock off of the salon line called matrix sleek look.. only this would cost you much, much more as it is commonly only sold in salons..

i have used both.. and the suave version works just as well and id much more affordable.. it keeps your hair soft, smooth, and protects it from breaking off from all that heat and creating frizzies..

also.. try to let your hair dry naturally as often as possible before straightening it.. and use a three minute leave on conditioner once or twice a week.. i use the garnier fructis brand..

my stepdaughter is the same way...and we took her to great clips and they cut her hair with a little bit of a layer to thin it out so it wouldnt frizz anymore..it did the trick...

she also uses a ceramic hair straightener.
