I have really curly hair but it is so curly I tired to style it HELP?

look I have really curly hair not like oh it ok wavy it's curly.... I got it cut awhile ago to my shoulders but I want to grow it really long... so I have 2 questions.... one : is there any proudects except icon and blow drying to make it straight like a shampoo like somthing thats works. like I use really good no fizz and shine shampoo and other stuff but it does not seem to work so something not to make my hair dry.. second: is it true the longer the hair the less curly like from shoulder to 6 inchs or even more

I've suffered with naturually curly hair for my whole life. Only a flat iron will straighten it for me. Certain products will help reduce frizz but not "uncurl" the hair. It is true that the longer the hair the less curly it is, but it will never be straight without heat processing. Sorry :( It took me years to accept this fact. LOL

I share your problem, a salon straighting perm won't even take the curl out of it. Yes the longer you grow your the less curly it will be.

If you want less curl in the meantime set your hair with hot rollers, they even sell some that just have the large curlers which works better for what your trying to do. Might sound stupid to curl hair that is already curly but it will give you more of a wavy look than tight spirals.

Also when you don't feel like straighting with the hair dryer, pull your hair back into a ponytail or bun while it is still wet and let it dry.

i agree, www.naturallycurly.com

if you learn how to treat your hair properly (not the same way straight haired folks do) i bet you will grow to love it.

Yes it is kinda true that the longer the hair the less it curls as the weight of it pulls it down, but this isnt always an attractive option depending on your hair. Many curly heads need layers.

Good luck.
