Can bleaching straighten your curly hair?

I have naturally curly hair and I get it done every 8-12 weeks for roots and highlights. I was just wondering if that can straighten it out eventually. It seems that my hair used to be more curlier than it was when I was younger.

The chemicals may relax the curls a little but not permanently. I have been bleaching, coloring and straightening my hair for 25 years, and recently stopped. My hair is curlier now than it was all those years ago!

The only way bleaching could uncurl your hair is because it is killing it. The longer your curly hair gets the weight of it should lessen the amount of curls. Bleaching is bad for your hair!!

don't think so but it will fry it.

hahah whoever told u that??? Funny. Bleachin cant straighten ur hair no way.. Infact it will only worsen ur texture. I say dont bleach urself and get ur hair rebonded from a salon.

no, it would dry them out and make your hair a lot worse.

No, bleaching can't straighten your hair honey.

Your hair can change over the years from straight to curly or vice verca, for instance, my hair used to be poker straight, then after i had a baby, it went curly!!! bizarre but true..
