When I was younger my hair was brown but as I grew my hair turned darker and darker (currently black hair). I wonder if this can be said for straight hair turning into curly hair or vice versa. Can straight hair turn into curly hair as you grow? Please don't think I am weird or anything, I just never heard anything about this.

its the hormones. as we get older these produce changes in our apperance...when i was younger i had pencil straight hair, now my hair gets this wavy pizzaz about it.

yes this happens. my hair was light brown when I was little now its really dark so I dye it back. It was also REALLY curly and not its completely straight! it happens

This can happen. When I was younger I had pin straight hair. In the past few years the back section of my hair has begun to get wavy and some strands are corkscrew curly. I imagine that eventually all my hair will be curly. Also, I have a co-worker who says that her hair became curly after she had kids.
