My hair is similar to yours. Dark and Lovely has a line for natural hair, called Naturally. I use the honey kissed hair dress. I hope this works for you!

Hmmm.. Pink Oil doesn't work? As in Motions? It works for me.. If that's what you're saying doesn't work, I'm sorry. =/

I know you said you have African Amercian hair, but I don't use products especially for African Americans, although it may because I'm mixed. I do use Motions Moisturizer though.

What I suggest is:

Garnier Fructis - I read that they came out with a moisturizing collection. Its yellow; look for the creme.

Tresseme - They also have a moisturizing collection, so look for any cremes or "milks".

Sunsilk - They have moisturizing creme's, but I'm not sure what color it is. Just look for the one that says "Hydrating".

I recomend these because I use these for my curls %26amp; they work well, so I'm sure their mousturizing collection will too.

I said look for creme's because you said you're just looking for moisturizers right? If you're looking for shampoo %26amp; conditoner, you can also find those in the listed brands.

I heard that Pantene for "women of color" works well for some %26amp; not for others. When I used their conditioner for hydrating curls, it didn't not work, but it wasn't the best either. Maybe it might work for you?

I hope this helps %26amp; good luck!
