ha ha i loved the pics... they helped!! i have curly hair too! if you like the way your hair looks straightened, take a shower right away when you get home and wash your hair and stuff, then let it dry overnight and the next morning it should be mostly dry and you can spary in (A LITTLE) Herbal Essence shine spray and that helps the frizz allot! then if you just blow dry it when you have some protectant spray, it will be soooo.... much easyer to straighten in the morning. then use rub oneof those dryer sheets (the ones you put in the dryer so your clothes arent staticy) all over your head!!

Try:

A) cleansing and reconstructing shampoos.

B)A good deep conditioner.

First, I know just how you feel. I too once felt cursed with curly frizzy hair and i worried about how popular straight hair has become, but as i straightened my hair more and more it became more and more damaged and now alot of the curl isn't even there anymore. Now I realize that the curl was part of my personality and people say i look better with curly hair anyways. I recommend that you try a couple of different shampoos. Natural kinds might help you return to a less damaged version of your hair and once it's healthier you could try some curl defining products. Try blending your bangs into the rest of your hair for a little less work. It's easier to wear curls that way anyhow.

WELL 1ST OF ALL I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND BECAUSE I HAVE SUPER CURLY HAIR. I USE TO STRAIGHTEN IT OFTEN AND I ENDED UP HAVING TO CUT MY HAIR SHORT BECAUSE IT WAS SO DAMAGED. I RECOMMEND YOU USE ALOT OF VITAMINS AND CONDITIONER TO HELP WITH THE FRIZZ AND IF YOU HAVE SPLIT ENDS YOU SHOULD REALLY CUT THEM.

OH YEAH AND TRY NOT TO PUT ANY CHEMICALS IN YOUR HAIR LIKE GEL OR HAIR SPRAY BECAUSE THE ALCOHOL DAMAGES YOUR HAIR.

First of all only one of your links worked. But from what I gather you have naturally curly hair and you have been using a flat iron to straighten it. In order to straighten hair that curly you have to get the iron pretty hot. You are frying your hair. It is breaking out really bad I'm sure. If you don't stop using the flat iron you won't have any to worry about. That is the reason it is so frizzy, IT IS DAMAGED!

Now, the solution. Stop using the flat iron for a while and give your hair a chance to recover. Go to the nearest place that has Nexxus products. Wal-Mart carries this now. Get a conditioner called emergency. Use this product on your hair every other day for about two weeks. Put a plastic cap on your hair and sit under a dryer for about twenty minutes. Don't wash your hair every day. You can wet it to tame it without using shampoo. Just wet it and put a detangler on it. Good detangler is Nexxus Ensure. Use one of the curl activators to tame your curls and let your hair dry natural for a while until it recovers. A good leave in conditioner is Infusium which you can get from Wal-Mart also. Also once a month deep moisturizing conditioners under a dryer will help too.

Take care of your hair a while. Then get a straightener from Sally beauty supply. You can just put it in your hair long enough to remove a little of the curl to make it more manageble. That way when new hair growth comes in you don't notice it. Plus it won't be that damaging to your hair. Follow the directions exactly in the package. It is extremely important to rinse the activator completely out before putting the neutralizer on your hair. If not you could cause a bad chemical reaction in your hair and cause it to break out like crazy. It is easy to do it yourself if you follow the directions carefully. But get your hair in good shape first.

You have really curly hair so I'm not sure to what extent this will work but here's a few tips:

1. To combat frizz, don't wash your hair too often because it will become dry. 2 or 3 times a week max. Comb the hair before washing to get rid of knots. Be gentle while scrubbing to avoid tangles.

2. Shampoo: Don't go against nature! If your hair is curly, use a shampoo for curly hair - this will provide the extra moisture curly hair needs to be healthy. Don't use one to make it "sleek and straight" as it will result in frizzy hair. Do use a conditioner for your type of hair too. For curly/wavy hair, try Redken's Fresh Curls. It's really good.

3. Leave-in treatment: a couple products that are fantastic; they tame my wild frizzy mane like you wouldn't believe: FHI Heat Hot Sauce and CHI Silk Infusion. Use little as these products are very rich and thick. Apply on damp towel-dried hair.

4. Drying: don't comb your hair if it doesn't need to be, especially for curly hair. This will allow the natural curls to re-form and avoid frizz. It is always good to apply some heat to your hair to loosen the curls. Naturally dry your hair 50%. Then use a blowdryer (lowest heat and fan so as not to break your curl patterns; don't use a brush either) and run your fingers through your hair until 80% dry. Finish off by tousling your hair in sections with some wax or serum to define the curls and seal in some more moisture. Tie up your hair until it is completely dry. If your hair is curly AND coarse, don't apply any heat - use a holding mousse on damp hair instead and define the curls with your fingers. Allow them to set until your hair is completely dry.

5. Bangs: use a bristle brush and hairdryer to straighten them. Use serum and an iron as necessary to achieve the desired look. A light mist of hair spray will keep the bangs staying straight.

6. Maintaining the style: don't comb your hair until the next wash if possible (or use a wide-toothed comb if necessary). Wrap and tie your hair when you go to bed. Use a silk bandana as well - this will reduce friction on your pillow and keep frizz away. Use a shower cap when showering.

Good luck! :)

Go to a store that sells hair products for black women. There is a spray that comes in a brown bottle called Sta-Sof-Fro Hair and Scalp Spray. My daughter has very curly hair and it can get super frizzy. This product works better than anything else Ive ever used and it doesnt take much. Just after you wash and towel dry your hair, spray it all through your hair and pick it out. It works great.
