Curly hair....help!!!?

so my hair is really curly, but it's long and thick. are there any curl pros out there that can tell me about products to keep your hair looking wet all day and help weigh it down a little to make it not look as curly???

I have the same problem,, all you have to do is make sure you condition your hair well in the shower so when it dries it's silky, soft, and manageable. Also, what works well is to put a leave-in cream (not spray) in while your hair is still damp; it controls the frizz, contains the curls, smells NIIce, and keeps your curls touchable.

If your gonna use gel, a good brand ( for black ppl hair ;) is isotope or sumthin i think,, its really dark brown, and holds well. It also gives you that wet look that you want. U can find it in the black ppl hair section at shoppers drugmart.

i dont no about pros but u can moose it and use hair spary or use some shampoo that doesnt thicken ur hair hope it helps

A few tips:

don't brush your hair ever!!!

use a wide tooth comb only and while wet.

john freida frizease works great

Mark. curl formula products work great also. You can buy them from Avon.

use a difuser instead of a blowdrier to set hair

scrunch hair to reenforce the curl

twist sections of hair before drying it (this will also help shape your curls).
