I've heard people say that curly hair is gross on most people. Why is it gross? My hair is naturally curly. What would make it gross?

just because people say that curly hair is gross doesn't mean that all people with curly hair have gross hair. they are refuring to people with curly hair that is oily or noughted. if you take good care of your hair it doesn't have to be known as "gross curly hair."

i dont know, i dont think its gross, curly is just a formation. Oily and stuff is different though

People who say that are jealous! I personally dont have curly hair but all 4 of my brothers and sisters do and I love it and kinda wish mine was curly as well. Some people are just ignorant and speak before they think.

curly hair is beautiful, tons of women pay big bucks for perms or hot rollers!

don't even worry about tryign to straighten your hair with a flat iron it will just damage it, just get a curl soothing cream/ conditioner to avoid frizziness, and embrace your curls!

Curls are in,we went trough the whole straightening iron bit but it is back to the curly,fem look,be glad you have curly hair

My bf loves curly hair. He flips everytime I curl it. It isn't gross. If you know how to fix it, then guys will drowl over you.

Mine kind of twists when it gets longer, its a burden. Wont stay down and humidy makes for chaos. Easier to keep and short, and thats what I do.

I have naturally curly hair, but I wear it straight too sometimes. It's only gross if you let it go frizzy and don't comb through it after you wash it. Straight can be gross too if it's greasy and you don't wash it. It just depends on how you take care of it.

Its the best- u can wear it curly or straight.Naturally straight hair is difficult to get curls.

i think curly hair is really sexy! im not saying that because my hair is curly, im saying it because its the truth. i straighten my hair alot only because its easier for me to fix in the morning and its more manageable, but when I feel like fussing with my hair i leave it curly and it is just beautiful, wild and sexy. so i dont know why some people would say it is gross, maybe secretly they are yearning fo that type or hair or maybe they have seen someone with curly hair who doesnt take good care of it but to say such a general statement like curly hair is gross is crazy! curly hair is fabulous!! ;)
