Help with curly frizzy hair!?

I have curly hair, and I don't mind wearing it curly except for a few things. It's kind of frizzy and awkward looking, and when I put product in it, it either doesn't change or looks greasy. Also, it takes forever to dry. I can never shower in the morning because it takes 4 to 5 hours to dry. Also, sometimes I straighten it, and I cut side bangs when it was straight, but I think that was a mistake because now when my hair's curly they stick out.

If anyone has solutions to any of these problems, please help!

Have you gone to a salon and asked for a professional opinion on a product that would work for your specific hair type? I think you are going to have to spend money to find the right thing... the cheapy Target stuff isn't going to do the job. GL!

Bedhead Afterparty! It is the best anti-frizz product I have ever used, although I have straight hair.

L'Oreal also makes Elvive anti-frizz serum and shampoo, and they work really well.

You can use a clip/bobby pin to hold your bangs back. They should grow out to a manageable length within a few weeks.

i dont have much of frizzy hair but i use got2be shampoo and conditioner. it helps get all tangles out really good and it kind of gets the frizz out. id also suggest a flat iron or buy a straighter at a salon.

Gender and degree of curls would help; also a comparison to a known hair type. (African and Jewish curly hair is completely different from Anglo-Saxon curly hair) Also age/employment position. Advising an afro works well if you're of a certain age, but doesn't work well after a certain point.

I have SUPER curly hair, and i cut bangs too!! I take showers in the morning, and it takes me like 5 mins to do it! i towel dry it. and DONT BRUSH. thats what causes the frizz. Then I use moose, and strictly curls spray stuff, its a yellow bottle that you can find at CVS or something. Then i barely hairspray it with herbal essenses. it is an orange bottle with green top. Then i partially dry with a blow dryer. And naturally dry the rest. Then i straighten my bangs with a curling iron!! And the tips of my hair. just a little bit! Hope this helps because everyone compliments my hair and they try to perm it like it. but it doesnt work!

My daughter has the same hair texture. I use Nexxus Humetress and conditioner. It works wonders on her hair. I moisterize her hair with Olive oil hairdress and John Frieda's anti-frizz serum. Good Luck with it.
